Responsibilities:

• High school caseload
  • Ages 17-22
  • 5-8 students
  • Severe/Profound intellectual disabilities 
• Primary duties consist of the following:
  • Developing and implement lesson plans
  • Consult with families and administrative staff
  • Report writing
  • Follow IEP objectives

Work Hours:

• Full-time

Contract Date:

• Starting March 25, 2024 - End of school year
  • Renewal extension for 2024-2025 school year is currently being finalized

Requirements:

• Active Rhode Island Special Education Teaching license with Severe/Profound and Grades 9-12 Certificate
• Previous experience in schools is preferred
